A Locomotion and Soft Acrobatics Workshop with Liav Bar-on

What the workshop entails:

In this workshop, we’ll focus on how we move on the ground, exploring the finer details that help us control, enjoy, and elevate our movement quality.

Through various movement tasks and partner work, we’ll discover new ways to develop creativity and awareness. We’ll also dive into soft acrobatics, breaking down the building blocks that will support your ongoing practice and development long after the workshop ends.

Finally, we'll weave these concepts together, exploring them freely through movement improvisation.

Who it’s for:

Beginners with some prior movement experience.

Experienced practitioners looking to refine their locomotion and acrobatics.

About the teacher:

Hi, I’m Liav Baron. I’m an international movement teacher and practitioner with 15 years of dedicated teaching experience.

My journey has included years of intensive study under Ido Portal and teaching students of all levels around the world. At the heart of my teaching is the wish to help people build strong and capable bodies and to develop a deeper awareness of and appreciation for movement. Following major abdominal surgery, this perspective became even more personal to me. It strengthened my belief in the importance of building a strong base of health and strength, while also reminding me that there are always ways to enjoy, appreciate, and reconnect with the body through movement.
