Chronic Conditions

Chronic conditions are persistent health challenges that don’t resolve easily—and often resist both conventional and alternative treatment. What makes a condition “chronic” isn’t only how long it’s lasted, but how it begins to shape your daily life. It lingers. It limits. It changes how you move, how you feel, and how you relate to your body.

Whether symptoms have been present for years or have more recently stalled without improvement, this work meets you where you are. My approach combines careful clinical assessment with a deeper understanding of the physical, emotional, and systemic patterns that sustain chronic cycles—supporting meaningful progress and renewed vitality over time.

Conditions commonly addressed include:

  • Chronic pain syndromes

  • Fibromyalgia

  • CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) and biotoxin/mold illness

  • Cardiometabolic conditions (hypertension, insulin resistance, lipid disorders)

  • Autoimmune conditions

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

  • Persistent fatigue and low-energy states

You may have already tried

  • Conventional medical care and diagnostics

  • Functional or integrative medicine

  • Acupuncture or other holistic therapies

  • Counseling or emotional support

When symptoms persist despite multiple approaches, it’s often not because nothing has been done—but because the pieces have not yet been examined together. My assessment considers physiology, structure, lifestyle, and mind-body dynamics as an interconnected system, helping identify where patterns have been overlooked and how a more coordinated path forward can emerge.

I have been seeing Lance for acupuncture treatments and attending his yoga and movement classes for going on 4 years now… Not only am I a healthier individual, but Lance’s work has helped me to cultivate a deeper awareness of my body-mind-spirit, which has resulted in my having greater depth and flow in my life, work, and relationships

SJ

As a doctor, he is so personable and truly embraces the naturopathic way of healing, taking into consideration not only your physical history but mental and emotional sides as well… He is so gentle and mindful and listens without any reservations

SG

As someone who has suffered from a complex chronic illness for nearly 8 years… Lance is the first person I have worked with who was not only able to address underlying habits of dysfunction but also one of the only people who treated me as if I was a person and not just a patient… Lance offers experience and insight that individualizes the healing process.

A Different Way Forward

If chronic symptoms haven’t resolved despite multiple approaches, a thorough, systems-level assessment is often the next step.
